Read my nails.

Galaxy Nails.

This was my first time trying the galaxy nails. I never gave it a go because I knew the original look was too harsh for me, so I redid them into a more feminine and wearable style. I used all pastel colours; pink, purple & aqua and a glitter top coat - China Glaze's 'Techno'.

(Left side: original galaxy w/black - not mine! (that was what I was inspired by to do the (right).

Lacey.

This has a very elegant and clean look towards it. I am a designer and therefore have very good visualisation. I knew these two colours would work perfectly together! I actually never thought I would've used this specific stamp pattern, but I am glad I did because this has become one of my favourite designs using the Konad Stamps!

Party Nails.

These are my party nails because I painted them specially for a friend's birthday party! I think the dark red (O.P.I - 'We'll always have Paris') is really bold for the night time and creates a great contrast against the gold sparkling glitter! (China Glaze - 'Solar Flare')

Fruit Platter.

This fruit platter was from overseas and they are the cutest thing ever !!

Bumble Bee.

I saw this look on youtube and thought it was one of the most creative things ever, so I just had to redo it! At this time I didn't have any nail brushes or dotting tools, so I used the nail pen. Nail pens are a bit difficult to use therefore explains why the lines and dots are not entirely perfect!

I bought China Glaze's 'Lemon Fizz' just for this look.

Penguin Lovers.

When I really started getting into painting! I painted every detail and used a nail dotting tool for the eyes!

Glitter on.

Still in the glitter phase - except I tried with actual glitter particles instead of a glitter polish! I painted the base a nude colour and sprinkled the gold glitter on the tips! Glitter goes EVERYWHERE! but it was worth it!

Valentine's.

This is a look I did specially for Valentine's day this year. Just basic white and baby pink stripes for the base and I used the Konad stamps to print the hearts !

Magnetise me.

I first saw this on Holly Annaeree's youtube channel and couldn't wait till I got my hands on them! I basically learn everything from youtube, so if you youtube it, you can see how it works ! It is like magic !

Layla's "Magneffect" in '17 Deep Violet'.
This was my first time trying so it didn't turn out as clear and even.

All that glitters.

This was the beginning of my glitter phase because I fell in love with this glitter polish by O.P.I called 'Rainbow Connection'. This is one of my favourite looks and also the one I dread doing most because of the aftermath! Glitter is THE WORST to remove! So hard that I even had to youtube "how to take glitter polish off easily" - it actually helps !

This gradient glitter look was done by painting a base (China Glaze - Agent Lavender) then started off by painting one layer of the glitter over the entire nail, followed by another layer starting from the centre of the nail to the tip and a final layer building over the tip only!

Dot Dot Dot.

Just some random look that I did! The dots were used by a nail pen, which I had just got from overseas. The dots didn't turn out perfect as it was hard getting used to squeezing the right amount out !

Crazy about Tiffany's.

It wasn't up until mid last year that I really started getting into nail art. At first I was just going through a phase of using different colours then I quickly developed interest towards a more creative side of nails. I started to experiment using brushes, dotting tools etc. This was the first time I used a brush to paint fine lines, which clearly needs to be perfected!

French.

French tips have been and always will be my favourite! I am very fortunate to have naturally long and nicely shaped nails! :) I never use to like painting french tips because it was always such a pain to do with the stickers. Then I discovered the brush which made life so much easier!

Crackle.

Everyone went crazy over these when they first came out. I bought O.P.I's 'Black Shatter' and tried it - it was very interesting at first but I thought the colour and style was a bit too grungy for me! Then I got excited when they started releasing more colours and I fell in love with the white one!

Water marbling.

This was my first time trying the water marble nail art! It was a fun but messy process! It can take a few tries to perfect but mine turned out ok! :)

Tri-Colour.

Simple & easy strokes ! Fun summer colours !

Konad.

My first time using the Konad stamps! I bought these online because I really wanted the leopard print !!

Nail Art.

This is probably going to be the start of a more personal blog! Nails, beauty, loves and whatnot :)
